Music for an audiovisual performance with Philippe Boisnard (audio-reactive video). Performed many times from the confidential creation at La grange aux paysage in Lorentzen (February 2014) until the last performance at the Electric Nights in Athens (April 2016).

Audiovisual performance by Philippe Boisnard and Gaëtan Gromer, co-produced by Les Ensembles 2.2, HP Process and Databaz center.

In this performance, Gaëtan Gromer creates music directly by modifying soundscapes, exotic or shared, from his personal collection. These concrete sounds offer an infinite palette of timbres and textures which serve as raw material for many explorations.

The sound waves thus created will themselves influence the video projected thanks to the modules created and controlled by Philippe Boisnard. Sound landscapes and visual landscapes are here intimately linked and intertwined, changing one another according to the wishes of the two artists.

It is, moreover, this aspect of “live and instant interaction” that makes this performance in perpetual evolution stand out.
