Music for the installation Evaporation Silencieuse by Nicolas Schneider that explores the relationship between arts and landscapes on the Salt Route, dating from the Celtic era and linking Marsal to Trier.
Evaporation Silencieuse was, at the beginning, a series of drawings displayed on a piece of furniture taking the form of the routes explored. Here, it is the Salt Route from Marsal. This work has now become a collaborative device for cross-relationships between artists and landscapes. Nicolas Schneider is collaborating for this exhibition with Gaëtan Gromer. Equipped with hydrophonic microphones, this one physically walks these same roads to give them to listen to a composition made from their soundscape, brought to the scale of the room in an installation using public location beacons.
